Silk powder is nearly the same protein composition as the skin, making for easy compatibility. Gentian and oak extracts cool and refresh. Sage extract supports healthy skin and scalp.

Usage

Shake a small amount into hand and press into skin. Protect against light and heat.

When used as a deodorant: apply to skin areas that tend to perspire. For even more odor protection, apply before or after a Dr. Hauschka Deodorant.

Tips

Talc-free Silk Body Powder is a true master of versatility with a wide range of potential uses. Use it as a body and foot powder, a gentle deodorant and to help prevent chafing.
Silk Body Powder also works really well for hair care. As a dry Shampoo, it binds excess oil from the roots and as a styling aid, it offers thin hair more hold and volume.

Sophisticated smell & feel

This is my new favorite powder. It smells like cardamom and rose and it's absolutely fantastic. It literally feels like silk on your skin. I wish I tried it sooner. It's a new regular in my Hauschka collection!

Body powder like no other

I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts. But when it gets hot I use powder in the areas where my skin folds. Add also the fact that I am asmatic and scented things will cause issue. So I bought one during the 12 days of Christmas. And it worked great. There is a scent;sutle. My asthma did not flair up, thank goodness! Will be using this product during the hot weather months and during times of hot flashes to help me keep those folds dry.

Wonderful

I’ve been a fan of this product for years… It’s great as a dry shampoo, it’s great in the summer when the humidity is high, you can use it as a facial powder, a body powder and it’s super fantastic when you sprinkle it on your sheets, you just slide and you feel like you’re in a luxury hotel. This is always a staple in our home.

Unbeatable!

This is the best body powder on the market. It's true it may be a bit "grainy" as other reviewers have said, but that doesn't really impact its effectiveness or use. Even in the record high temperatures we are experiencing this summer, I stay very dry. I find the delivery system difficult though and wish it came in a container with a powder puff. It is pricey. Worth it, but I don't like wasting it.

Wonderful talc free powder

No one should use a product with talc. This powder is amazing, talc free, can be used on the face, lasts forever, and has no fragrance. I use it after the Sage deodorant and I am covered all day even in the summer.

Aromatic comfort

I have used Hauschka silk powder for years because of its safe formula, smooth consistency, and pleasant aroma. Other non-talc bath powders are grainy and not as long lasting.

Essential Part of my Body Care Collection

I really want to love this powder, but the grainy texture is anything but silk-like. With that said, the fragrance is natural and pleasant, and it really does keep perspiration odors at bay. Waaaaay too expensive, though.

FRAGRANCE is too overpowering

It's a great powder, but I'm allergic to fragrances, even natural ones sometimes (unfortunately). I wish this powder's fragrance wasn't so strong, because I really like this body powder. Hopefully Dr. Hauschka can make something similar fragrance-free. Give allergy sufferers like me to choose something without fragrance. Thanks for letting me write a review.

Excellent + Versatile Powder

This works really well, for body, to prime your skin for the day & to freshen up; as well as for face to finish make-up and for your head/hair. Amazingly effective. I forget to stock it so will run out, but it is one I think is essential care aide so prefer to have it on hand to use daily.

Dry Shampoo

I really like this powder. I use it as dry shampoo on my hair between washes and it works way better than any other baby powder/dry shampoo I have used. It makes my hair look less oily and adds volume. And the smell is lovely.

Not for me

I really wanted to love this powder, but I'm just not impressed. It has a nice scent, but I don't like how it sits on my skin. I've also tried it as a dry shampoo and I didn't notice any of the oil in my hair being absorbed. I absolutely love Dr Hauschka products, so it's hard for me to not love this product.

SO SORRY TO SAY BUT......

I am so sad to say this but I honestly do not like this product. while it replaces Talc which is a good thing the fragrance is very much overkill. would rather see a fresh scent vanilla, coconut or the like. the container is so small that the price is just out of control. and for those reasons I have to say not for me. sorry.

Silk body powder

The silk body powder is awesome. I'm bigger chested so it works well for keeping my girls dry all day. I also used it as a dry shampoo a day after I washed it, with excellent results. It takes the oil out and gives hair great body all day. No need to reapply for me. Thanks for making this all natural product, I stay away from the talcum stuff as it is not good for the body. Thanks so much for making this product.

The ultimate body powder for southern summers.
