Love my Dr. Hauschka lipstick!

I have been a believer, user of Dr. Hauschka skin and body care products for decades. As highly as my opinion, results and enjoyment with skin/body care I was not in the past impressed with the makeup line. I have to say, that is all changed! I guess reformulations, me etc. has all been tweaked. Love the Clove Honey lipstick, beautiful feel, glide, application and look- soft, light shimmer, just lovely and classy! Love the foundation and correction powder too! Both give unmistakable pop that is subtle and gives just the right polish.

Best lipstick on the market

I’ve tried numerous brands of lipstick and this one is best far the absolute best. Keeps lips moisturized and full of color. It is also extremely long lasting even through a meal. I’m a huge fan. I wear most of the color choices they offer.

Beautiful product

This lipstick glides on and seems to last for hours. I like it so much I went back and bought two more. The colors are lovely tones, perfect for most skin colors.

I've long been a fan of Dr. Hauschka's lipsticks. Holy Clover is the shade I tried this time around, and it is beautiful. Just perfect for a light skin tone. I'd hoped for a shade that would look well with pinks & coral tones of clothing. It's perfect.

I have three of the lipsticks and this seems to be my go-to so far. Not too flashy but enough. And it seems to be fairly neutral.

Lipstick 22 millionbells

Lipstick #22 Millionbells. Very pleased with the color of this lipstick! I've had a difficult time finding one similar to what I used years ago (I think that was #1). This is close to it and not too pink and not too towards the redish or brownish shade. Since we are all different, I guess that isn't too clear, but I am very pleased and would buy again. I wanted something simple, adding color, but not too terribly bold.

Firelily!

I switched all my products over to Dr Hauschka due to pregnancy. I usually wear orangy tone lipstick and firelily seems to be the closest. Def moisturizing and on point color but it does have shimmering effect which makes it rather glossy look. Wish it’s not so shimmering.

Holy Clover lipstick

A great, smooth, lip color. I would say it’s a warmer tone than I prefer, but if you like warm tones, it’s great! Has a bit more of a shimmer than some of the other Hauschka lip colors I have tried.

Caraluma, #14 Wonderful color!

This is a neutral, redish-with-a-hint-of-brown color and it goes with everything! I think it’s my favorite Hauschka lipstick so far! I called Customer service to find out which colors could work for me. The team member was very helpful with identifying good color options for me, over the phone. Love the Dr.Hauschka mission and clean ingredients list too!

Review for Orpine, color #07

I like the quality of these lipsticks! They feel great on my lips, and I appreciate the peace of mind brought by their clean, natural ingredient list. This color, Orpine #07, is a cool tone deep rose, with a hint of plum. I have medium-fare skin, with some natural lip color. This deep color adds a nice intensity. If you usually wear warm toned colors, this may not be for you. Also, I never have good luck judging lip colors over the screen, so I called Dr. Hauschka customer service team. The team-member was quite helpful and could tell me which lip colors would be generally cool, neutral, or warm toned. It saved me time and money- I highly recommend!

Beautiful lipstick!

The consistency and color are just right, rich and moisturizing. It's hard to tell color without testing in person but the Hauschka website swatches and photos appear quite accurate to true lipstick color in my opinion. I will definitely buy more colors!

Mandevilla Shade Lipstick

I adore the shade, feel and look of this lipstick.
Only quip is the scent, I wish it smelled of Rose instead of the herb scent which is ok and it does dissipate thankfully, I just prefer rose.

Nice Lipstick

My computer monitor showed the chocamocha color to be more berry than the somewhat red-brown I experienced. It is a nice color though I wish it had looked even a bit brighter on me.

Still looking for a natural beige-pink from Dr. Hauschka. So far their blackberry lip gloss looks best on me. I have tried several of their liners and lipsticks. I have received compliments when wearing 12 paeony over 02 red heart lip liner.

I bought color #14, caralluma. It’s a soft, pretty reddish brown. It keeps my lips moist, and gives me the peace of mind that Dr. Hauschka products provide.

Wonderful Lipstick

I purchased the shade Camelia, which is more of a subdued fushia. While I prefer dusty pinks and mauves, this color isn't loud or overbearing as some bold colors can be. The formula goes on smoothly and while not long wearing, it does last a bit longer than most. Hopefully more shades in the pinks will be added in the future.

The pandemic does not seem like a time for lipstick, but I decided to get one to enhance the look while teaching, conferencing, meeting on Zoom all day long. I don't like a full make up and apply this very lightly. The color is beautiful and wears pretty well for many hours. It works well for moisturizing too.

Great feeling, way too dark, does not resemble the picture

The Lipstick feels great on lips, however it is way too dark. It does not correspond with the picture provided. I would love to get the amaryllis or azalea instead.

"Golden" Nude

My skin is warm/gold toned, (maybe blue undertones). Most "nude" lipsticks look unnaturally pink on me. I guessed by the pictures that it might lean warmer, and Lipstick 20 is a great color for me! Also happy with moisture/texture, and shine; Be it oil or shimmer, it is suble, which gives a smoother look on my lips, as opposed to high shimmer.

It’s my go to shade. Such a soft color. Perfect with a tawny summertime blush. Also works well as an under layer to lighten and brighten coppers and plums.

Great quality but not for me

It is very difficult to tell colors from the web site. I still haven't found the right color for me. They used to make a lipstick called "Legato" which was my all-time favorite but can't get close to it. As with most natural lipsticks even though it feels wonderful going on, it doesn't last.

Way too pink for me. Wish I had never purchased this one item. I’ll mix and match it with another color so as not to be wasteful.

Disappointing

I have really liked all my past lipsticks from Hauschka but his one was more of a lip gloss, barely there. It FEELS good, and the color suits my skin tone, but the saturation is so minimal it just doesn't cover as I want.

Very good and lasting

I hardly ever wear lipstick. Plus like so many of us I've been traumatized by the horrible smelling and tasting lipsticks out there so far. Well this one is so different. It's smooth, doesn't smell or taste, feels really natural, and lasts. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I wish it was the actual color (more pinkish) of the picture. But that's not the product's fault. Will buy again, in a different color.

Beautiful Colors

I have always used lipsticks but discovered Dr.Hauschka's vibrant lipsticks only recently. I feel much better about using these products than other brands because of the quality of their ingredients. The looks are still great!

I wish I had gotten more... it was my first time buying lipstick from Hauschka and I love it: color(one nude and one other can’t remember the number now), texture and glide. Next time they are on sale I will stack up for the whole year :)

I love this lipstick! Mildly and pleasantly scented, it feels lovely on the lips, the color is a natural (but better!) nude rose. It has a satin finish, with moderate lasting power, which doesn't matter because it feels so wonderful to apply!

Wrong color

I love Dr. Hauschka products, but was so disappointed to find this color lipstick 01 was way too light. It's so hard to tell by looking on line. I have been trying to find a color that I used years ago, Maybe it was discontinued? I thought it was 01 or 10, but evidently not. Thank you!

Excellent spring color

I love Dr. Hauska lipstick and the camellia is excellent lighter color for spring/summer. I appreciate how the lipstick is moist. The color stays on well while not staining the teeth.

Dahlia and Caralluma

I like the colors and find that this formulation of the lipsticks are longer lasting and more moisturizing than earlier formulations. I really like the way they feel on my lips.

I must have an acidic system since most lipsticks turn orange on me. I've found Dr. Hauschka lipstick in the brown tone does not turn orange, so I'm thrilled to buy this lipstick!

The lipstick is nice, but I absolutely picked the wrong color. It is much too bright for me. I guess I should have taken the words "intense colour" more seriously. I love all of my Dr. H products; this is the only thing I have gotten that I am disappointed in.

The co!it's were beautiful but I have very sensitive skin and unfortunately had to return all of the lip products: lipstick, lip definer and lip pencil because they irritated my lips and surrounding skin.

I ordered the Bromelia lipstick. The scent is lovely and the texture is very creamy, smooth and moisturizing. My lips don't dry out from wearing it. The color is very subtle and natural. Looking forward to trying a color with a bit more of a pop to it.

I loved the colors I selected. I prefer a matte finish so these were a little too luscious and creamy. Perfect if that is the finish you prefer.

Great colors, long-lasting

Many years ago was a BBrown fan but she never made a blue-based pink lipstick, only brown red. Not my color. I’m always on lookout for a soft pink or lavender-rose lipstick for my fair skin & blue eyes. Dr. H. Lipsticks work well and have nice color choices. Keep my lips soft, not dry. Safer ingredients than many well-known brands & that’s a big reason to use Dr. H. too.

This color Mandavilla is beautiful. Initially I thought "oh no too pink", but that gave way to feeling that this is just a really pretty shade. Having grey hair and pale skin, this color just brightens up my look. Wear isn't the longest, but it fades evenly without any lip ring.Feels very comfortable wearing.

Feels very good on the lips and smells good. The colors online do not match the actual lipstick at all, however. It's hard to choose colors for this reason.

Great lipsticks with no lead!

I started using these because they claim to have no lead as an ingredient, unlike most other brands. The colors I use are the paler ones and the texture and color are excellent.

Decent enough

Didn't love the "frosty/shimmery" appearance but the lipstick feels nice and looks better after a good blotting. Not sure if I would order again or not.

Disappointed

I was looking for a replacement for 13 or 01 from the old lipstick line and this one was a flat orange that did not blend smoothly on my lips, but sat on the surface. There was no pink in it.

Lasts longer and color is more intense than previous line!

I tried 12 paeony in the new line of lipsticks. It has exactly what was missing in the older line of lipsticks: more color saturation! I love it that the color is more intense, has great natural ingredients, and does not wear off quickly! So far it is the best natural lipstick I have found. It outperforms others and even Dr. Hauschka’s previous line of lipsticks (doesn’t smudge, run, or dry out quickly). Word to the wise: the color looks just like the swatch that contains all 18 colors. However it doesn’t look like the color shown in the tube of lipstick at the top of the page.

Creamy and Long-Lasting Coverage

The color I chose, Bromelia, is perfect for my skin tone. Generally, the lipsticks I've ordered elsewhere haven't been long-lasting, but this is goes on creamy and rich, and has lasted much longer during the day than others I've used.

Lovely texture and colors. This might not be the longest lasting lipstick out there, but knowing that I'm not ingesting toxic chemicals is ABSOLUTELY worth it!

Quality product

This lipstick goes on so easily. It is creamy & lasts.Color isn't as bright as I had anticipated so will order a more vivid color next time. This is the first time I ordered lipstick but definitely not the last!

Numbers have changed

The 07 lipstick that I love and have used for years, is no longer available. I did not know all the numbers had changed so when I received the new #7, it was very disappointing, although I am willing to return it and try another one that might be close to the old number. Otherwise, I'll buy from a different distributor so I can try it on in person.

Replacement for #7

I was so disappointed to find my favorite lipstick of all time, #7 was no longer available. I was surprised seeing as it was Elisabeth Sigmund’s favorite as well. Customer service advised me #3 was the closest to it. I am pleased with the color. It’s not an exact match and I hope to see #7 back, but this will be my go to for now.

Smooth lip stick

I purchased two lipsticks from this line--- the 01 Rosebay and the 09 Chessflower. The rosebay was really really light pink and does not suit my coloring. The Chessflower was a beautiful deep color and perfectly compliments my coloring. Great ingredients and color on both products.

Very Nice!

I really like the colors and how this lipstick feels on my lips. It doesn't dry the lips once it wears off. The amaryllis is the perfect red with pink undertones for pink skin tones and is great for a night out. The camellia is a light pink great for daytime wear.

Rich and moisturizing

I took a risk and ordered the Chessflower, a bolder color than my usual more neutral choices. It is luscious! For me it wears best with a lipliner.

Nourishing and smells amazing

The moment I opened the cap to my new Fusha lipstick, the natural aroma got to me. I’m definitely changing over my lip stick brand to Dr. Haushcka, especially after my first day wearing it. Kept my lips hydrated, and the color stayed on splendidly.

If I can't get to the Dr. H. lip balm, this is moist enough by itself. I wear it paired with a lip liner covering the whole lip. Using the 2 together, it stays on a bit longer. Great colors, especially the Caralluma.

I love the colors, the texture is super smooth and I use it as a blush also, it looks much better than any powder blush I tried...I will try more shades when I can :) there is never enough lipsticks :)

Good quality lipsticks that don't dry-out your lips!

I purchased this lipstick in Dahlia and Paeony. I like both of them and found the colors to be true to those pictured online. I did find it slightly frustrating trying decide which colors would work best for me. I wish there was a "tester" pallet that I could purchase to be able to try all the colors. Until that exists, I would recommend giving them a try anyway, as I found the colors to be beautiful and classic. One of my biggest complaints from my prior "premium brand" lipstick was that it dried out my lips. The Dr. Hauschka lipsticks do not do that. I use the "Red Heart" lip liner with both of these colors and it works well. I also love knowing that the lipsticks are made with natural, high-quality ingredients.

Best Lipstick Hands Down

I truly love the new lipstick formula Dr. Hauschka rolled out this year; it's creamy, rich, and the color is true to the shade shown online. My favorite is Shade 14 ? Caralluma. It's not greasy, stays in place and compliments my skin tone perfectly!

Wonderful color lipsticks

I have three different color of these series and i love them all, mainly because they are very moist and makes my lips look full. I use Mandevilla and Camellia during the day and Azalea for evening. My favorite is Mandevilla.

Love the Dahlia color

I have used Dr. Hauschka lipstick for years and when they updated their colors I was worried I would lose my favorite color- but this new #10 is a close match to the old #4, a beautiful shade for me. I am fair with red hair and I love the copperish tone. Lipstick lasts ok, wish it would last longer, yet feels great on and looks great.

Just received this lipstick. The color is a pinky red, lighter than in the photo. If you are looking for a truer red I think Dahlia would be better, but I am happy with this color as an alternative as it matches my checks when they get cold in the winter!

This is a really nice lipstick. I have a reaction from using other brands (dries the skin out). I did not get that reaction with DR H lipstick. I do not really like the color I chose though. I will need to use a gloss with it.

Slightly disappointed

So far I have not been able to find a color from the new line that pops on me like the no. 07 from the previous line did. The texture of the new lipstick is ok but I really miss my lipstick from the old line. No. 07 was my staple for many years...

Love this lipstick. The color isn't the best for me, but the richness and moisture it gives my lips is great. I have always used a not-so-natural brand of lipstick because of it's moisturizing quality and lack of bad smell. Now I can switch to DH lipstick once I find the right color. Happy!

The most lusterious and incredible texture and color!

I recently purchased the new lipstick in shades "Dahila" and "Peony" and I am so in love! Dahila- a perfect, deep red, truly a classic for date night or with a dark eyeliner for a vintage look.Peony- a gorgeous berry red, perfect for a fun daytime look or maybe paired with a floral dress for a special event. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed when the older lipstick line was discontinued, however, the new line far exceeds any expectations I had and now I want one in every shade!

I love Dr.Hauscha lipsticks and so was excited to try the new range. It's so nice to have a larger selection of colors to choose from. I tried " Genum" it is such a pretty color, the lipstick is beautifully soft and creamy and nice to wear. I can't wait to try some of the other colors.

I love this lipstick, the color 04 Sand Dune and texture. I keep reordering it.

Chessflower Lipstick

The Chessflower Lipstick wears exactly like the color on screen. When I opened the tube, it looked VERY dark, but it wears like a deep berry when applied (you can tone it down even more by blotting). It feels great to wear-- smooth and non-drying. And it also has a light and very pleasant essential oil fragrance. After I applied it, someone nearby asked what smelled so nice. I will definitely be wearing this very frequently in the autumn/winter (though it will likely stay in rotation year round). A new favorite.

Dahlia Lipstick

I just love this new lipstick, it is so rich and creamy...it's the perfect deep shade of red. You have great products and I am glad there is more of a color selection now

#13 Lipstick

I have used this exact product in the past and loved it. The purchase was made at a local spa. Recently however the product was purchased online on the Dr Hauschka site during one of the sale days and for reasons unknown the color does not stay on my lips nor does feel moist on my lips as the product has felt in the past. Unclear as to what the issue is however disappointed. I loved this product prior to this experience.

Great color

The color looks much as I expected, maybe better. It goes on smoothly, lasts long, and doesn't make my lips feel caked like some lipsticks do. I also like the way it looks with Dr. Haushka glosses layered on top so that I can get different color effects.

Lovely for spring

Lipstick #7 is my favorite for spring and summer! I have light brown hair and green eyes and it goes with all of my clothes.It stays on well without being heavy. A lovely addition!

Best Lipstick Ever

I've been using Dr Hauschka's makeup for several years now. I love the lipstick! Others made my lips burn a bit and dried them out. No issues at all with that. Very happy and love my color. Not too pink and not too dark, but just right (01).

luxurious long lasting lips

I really didn't want to spend $25 for one lipstick but this is no ordinary lipstick and worth the price. It makes my lips feel nice and smooth without being greasy. And the color is beautiful. Will definitely purchase again but it will probably be awhile because a little goes a long way :).

What's different about this lipstick is the "need" to have some on all the time is gone. With past product my lips felt dry and I was constantly applying to feel good. No more! My lips have never felt better.

Love all the products.I just wish the fragrance was more of what I love.Lipsticks use to have a wonderful Rose scent to them.

Natural color

I do not normally use lipsticks because I do not like the ingredients of most of them. This one has a very natural color which I love. The feeling is light, I forgot I had lipstick on and I like the natural look which accentuated the lips nicely.

Hi, wearing lipstick has always been something that I could only do once in a while because I have eczema and am severly allergic. Whenever I wore lipstick I always got the bill a few days afterwards: scaly skin, dry cracked lips, red 'moustache' around my lips, i.e. irritated skin. However, with this lovely lipstick I get no irritation at all. It even makes my lips feel more soft and hydrated. And sine it's more of a strong pigmented lip gloss, that dark red color gives my lips a very healthy natural look. If applied twice it looks more reddish, like the color it indicates.I have decided to NEVER buy chemical lipsticks again, EVER. Thank you very much Dr. Hausck for making this superb product.

I have been using this lipstick for years!! I love it!! Whole Foods quit carrying it so now I have to order it online. It smells great ,is very moist & is a perfect color fir me.

Love the feel; color is not true

I LOVE the way the Dr. H lipstick feels on my lips; it's like a mini spa treatment. And the scent is so delicate. However, the color is not true; I purchased #09 Iridescent Bronze and the color is 2 shades lighter on my skin than represented on the color sample. I hope they make darker shades soon.

Wonderful product

Glides on smoothly, color stays true and lasts a long time. Doesn't leave lips feeling chapped when it wears off. I will be using this lipstick from now on.

I have crazy sensitive skin and have been disappointed by pretty much every lipstick out there, but this lipstick is amazing: completely hypoallergenic, and high quality. It has a perfect texture: rich and smooth but not heavy or sticky. It doesn't clump up in the corners of the mouth (ick) either. I love it! My only regret is that there aren't more colors. The Dr. Hauschka palette is a little dark for me. I would love it if you whipped up some lighter, pinker tones. Especially if they were iridescent!

I love these lipsticks because they are very natural. They are so good for my lips. The colors are beautiful. They are highly pigmented which is great. Only thing is that they are shiny/glossy and I would love to have the lipsticks matte. Also they do come off kind of easily like when I give a kiss or eat, but it's not a big deal.

I find that this lipstick lasts a long time but I would prefer more color and less shimmer.

This is my favorite lipstick. I have used this brand of lipstick for 8 years now. The color #09 show very neutral on me. The color lasts and the lipstick does not dry out my lips or irritate them as so many others do.

I am a new customer with Dr. Hauscka, and I must say, I go to great lengths to research a company before I elect to purchase anything as important as what I am either going to eat, drink, or put on my skin. Having been a patient at MSKCC, and reading all of the negatives that are in cosmetics, I wish I knew back then what I know now. I guess we all do. It is our job as women to educate every woman we know about the hazards of parabens and all the other bad stuff in cosmetics. My line of work places me in the public eye. Looking presentable and well-manicured is not an option, it is a requirement. Having searched high and low, I am pleased I found Dr. Hauschka and I am so glad I decided to give them a try. Having zoned in on 3 companies, I chose Dr. Hauscka because I did not want to trust a fly-by-night company with my skincare. I ordered this pink fuschia lipstick, I believe that is what it is called. Firstly, I love that it came encased in plastic shrink wrap, just love tamper-proof packaging. Secondly, the tube is a lovely gold with black, looks really professional, great for whenever I may need to get that lipstick out in public to refresh. It goes on smooth and keeps lips soft and supple. I am not kidding. It's like a moisturizer for your lips. Absolutely heavenly. However, the color is more like a tint. So, while the color looks vibrant on your monitor, when you actually put it on, it looks like a light shade of the actual color in the lipstick. I slathered on a few applications and still looks like a tint. I have ordered the other lipstick called the novum... wondering if that color is going to be a bit more like a true lipstick color. Even if it is not, I am hoping it will be as smooth and supple, and as moisturizing as this one.

Smells delicious, I almost want to eat it. I wear it all the time, even to bed haha Best lipstick. Thick, satiny, beautiful natural colour, moisturizing, stays on for hours...I want it in all colours now!

Lipstick: Apricot & Warm Red w/ Copper

Beautiful shades! Match very well with my medium-light, warm-toned skin, hazel eyes and reddish blonde hair. Long lasting--sort of like a matte stain but not drying. Added lip balm on top for some sheen does not break down the pigments. Feels fresh, no poor taste. I have loved every product I have tried from DH so far! These include makeup, facial skin care and the shower essences, which are lovely!

Perfect blend of matte to moisture in a lipstick

I love the rose shade but even more I like the staying power of this lipstick. It is not a chalky matte or a slippery moisture laden lipstick. It is just the right mix of both. I want all the shades.

This lip stick stands out - as it has moisturizing properties as well as vibrant color that has a radiance to it.

Smooth, moisturizing, everyday lipstick

This lipstick is more like a gently colored lip moisturizer. It adds a gentle color while protecting your lips. It is especially smooth. I am a repeat purchaser because I like the texture and color. I use the lipstick up because it goes on so smoothly and I like it a lot.

Lipstick with carmalite

I like the quality of Dr Hauschka products and trust they use the best ingredients. This lipstick though with carmalite has a peculiar odor I can't get use to. The color is not a deep red as expected but with a hint of sheen and transparency

My god it WORKS

Ten days into using this lipstick on an inconsistent basis; I am DELIGHTED to report that my lips have not even noticed. Historically lipstick results in blisters followed by peeling; NO PROBLEMS at all with this product! It must be made of angels.p.s. I have no clue how to use makeup and this product is cheerfully non-threatening.

The best everyday natural look glossy lipstick

Another fantastic lip product from Dr. H. I love the No. 4 Dune. Very versatile and turns to a sandy pink when used with No. 3 Romantica lip pencil.

The best lipstick ever!!

I have worn these lipsticks since they were introduced in 1999. The colors are fantastic, so natural and complement all skin tones. The colors can be worn on their own for a transparent color wash or have more staying power combined with a Dr. H lip pencil or base of transparent makeup and loose powder before application of the lipstick. I wear No. 7, No. 15, No. 16 and No. 17.
