---|---|---|---|
FARNESOL |
| Farnesol | Farnesol is naturally occuring in essential oils such as roses, neroli and ylang-ylang. In Dr. Hauschka Skin Care Farnesol is never added as an isolated or synthetic substance. Where present it is always as a component of natural essential oils. We declare it individually as required under European allergy disclosure regulations. |
FATTY ALCOHOL/FATTY ALCOHOLS |
| Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol | Fatty alcohols are obtained from plant oils. They bind the components of creams, hydrate the skin and make it soft and supple. |
FATTY ALCOHOLS sulfated |
| Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate | Sulfating fatty alcohols derived from plant oils makes them more hydrophilic ("water loving") so they mix into oils more readily. Sulfated fatty alcohols act as emulsifiers to help bind the oil and water components of creams as well as provide hydrating properties. |
FENNEL Fruits, Extract |
| Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Seed Extract | The small fennel fruits grow in airy clusters called umbels. Many of us first experience the soothing effect of fennel tea as babies. The fennel fruit extract in Dr. Hauschka Skin Care products is prepared using our own special rhythmic process. |
FRUCTOSE |
| Fructose | Fructose is a natural monosaccharide (simple sugar) carbohydrate. It serves as a humectant to hydrate and makes the product supple. |
FRUCTOSYL COCOATE/OLIVATE plant based surfactants |
| Fructosyl Cocoate/Olivate | A mild surfactant. It stabilizes the foam of cleansing products. |
